    I was at university when I first heard of the so-called death of the novel, and was frightened by the thought. But I’ve since heard the phrase many times during the ensuing decades, and am cheered by the fact that so far the novel has clung to life, albeit precariously, while novelists persist in writing, despite the many drawbacks attendant upon the practice.

It would be laughable if he hadn't spent his presidency turning the country into Revelations, where even priests are being gunned down in the streets.

The reality is, the summit would never have occurred, because no other president would have made the concession of a meeting at all for no apparent gain.

    Obamacare not in 'death spiral' because people value it

    Obamacare, although imperfect, was soundly constructed and thoughtfully implemented. It has withstood constitutional challenges and survived endless Congressional votes to repeal and amend it. Republicans talk only about its problems and the Trump Administration has worked hard to sabotage it further, but the fact is that Obamacare is not in a 'death spiral'. It is working surprisingly well.
